Surrender all to the Lord
One of my favorite Songs:
I bless you Lord, God of heaven and earth
I adore you Lord, God of heaven and earth
Heaven and earth, heaven and earth.
Our Almighty God is the Lord of heaven and earth. All powers belongs to him. We have no power of our own. When we surrender all to him, he will take absolute control of our lives and he will surely manifest himself in our lives. Isaiah 66 VS 1-2:
1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
What do we have to surrender to God:
- Our lives
- Our health
- Our homes
- Our wills
- Our possessions
- Our careers
- Our abilities
- Our success
- Our riches and wealth
- Our desires
- Our disappointments
- Our challenges
- Our failures
- Our anxieties
- Our fears
As a child of God we should not strive. The Bible says in the book of Proverbs 3 VS 5-8:
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
To surrender all to the LORD we have to:
- trust him
- love him
- have faith in him
- forsake our sins
In the second have of this year 2021 let’s give all to him and we will have all the full cost to glorify His holy Name at the end of this year and forever.
